GKX MEMBERSHOP 

BOOKING OF EXPLORE PLUS SERVICES

All registered GKX members with admission to the GKX Community can book extra services from the GKX Webshop.  

 

Our Webshop is a part of our GKX Student Community and is closed for non-members.  The services, that are described below are targeting International Highschool students, and in general not make sense for others to book. 

 

Service fee: The actual fee for most services is stated in the shop. If nothing else is specified in the shop, we settle according to the time spent on the task with a calculated service fee of 125€ per hour including VAT. The estimated price is always agreed upon before the task is carried out.


Students with GKX Support to eXplore membership have some of the services below included in their memberships, and can book additional services here. Read more about their service selection here.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Access to support and assistance of an administrative nature, e.g. setting up a Danish bank account, reading through a job contract, etc.

AIRPORT SERVICE
We offer members transportation assistance for arrival or departure for home visits. Up to 4 students with limited luggage per car.

ARRIVAL CAMP
Weekend event 3-4 wks after arrival with a focus on studying and living in Denmark and social networking with fellow students.

BEDLINEN PACKAGE
The ideal option for students arriving by plane, who prefer new duvets and bedlinen etc instead of bringing all on overload by the plane.

EU RESIDENCE PERMIT 

& DANISH ID NO ASSISTANCE
With this service included in your membership you don’t need to worry about how to get and how to navigate with digital and electronic ID.

NETWORK MEETINGS

A strong part of the program is to learn how Denmark works. We do that by offering visits in Danish companies and organizations.

CONTACT FAMILIE

The closest you come to a familiar relation with a local family. Through 1-2 monthly meetings you get a Danish family to reach out to and a family, who will introduce you to their Danish family traditions. 

HOMEWORK SUPPORT
IB Diploma can be harder than expected, and extra assistance can be necessary for homework and assignments. Reach out - and we try to find a paid mentor/ helping teacher. 

PRE-ORIENTATION

A good start comes from knowing all the Do’s and Don’t’s of Denmark. In our Webinar hold in June we guide you trough valuable knowledge about school and everyday life in Denmark. 

DANISH ONLINE

Danish class for beginners interested in learning “functional” Danish before arrival. Classes are held in early spring before arrival in August.

LOCAL LIVING EVENTS

The closest you come to a familiar relation with a local family. Through 1-2 monthly meetings you get a Danish family to reach out to and a family, who will introduce you to their Danish family traditions.

PRIVATE HOSTING

Sometimes no rooms are available at the boarding school, or the student is on a waiting list. Instead of searching locally yourself, lets us do the work and find you costcovered private host family.

STUDENT CAMPS

Weekend camps combined of learning  and social workshops with international students from other IB High Schools.

TRIPS AND EVENTS

One day, weekend- and trips in mainly Denmark

with international students and volunteers.
