Support, Community & Student Housing
At Global KnowleX, we provide support and a network for international IB students in Ikast.
From August 2026, we will have our own base in Ikast, the GKX Student House at Kirkegade 10 – a social hub where all students enrolled in the GKX support program can meet other international students, join activities, and find a helping hand.
In addition to our support program, we offer housing solutions for international students who are not allocated accommodation through Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, or who, after one or two years in student housing, wish to move into a more independent living arrangement.
We currently offer furnished housing in central Ikast, as well as assistance in finding private accommodation that you can rent and furnish yourself.
Ikast-Brande Gymnasium requires all students to have a local contact for non-academic guidance. We proudly provide this service, ensuring that help is always nearby.
Please note: Access to GKX housing requires enrolment in our support program.
