The package includes services such as:

Personal onboarding and practical guidance upon arrival

For students and families who arranged their study placement through another organization but still want access to GKX support and community. With GKX Servicecard, you can choose the services you need – without signing up for a full support package like Diamond Mini.

Homestay Family
Available exclusively as an add-on to a Diamond Mini/Diamond Shine Contract
€ 1.995 pr. year
For students who would like to experience Danish culture from the inside and become part of everyday family life in Denmark.
The program connects you with a carefully screened volunteer Danish contact family, who will welcome you into their everyday life through:

A monthly visit with your contact family

The opportunity for weekend stays by arrangement

The option to extend the programme with stays during up to three school holidays, excluding Christmas and New Year
Extend to Holiday stays: €500 per holiday
The fee contributes towards the family's expenses for meals and local activities and excursions during your stay.
Payment Terms
Registration Fee: €500: Payable upon completion of the admission assessment, part 2
Deposit: €500: Payable upon signing the contract.
15 February: 50% of the Remaining Balance: Payable once a study place at a school has been provisionally confirmed
1 May: Final 50% of the Remaining Balance + any booked add-ons: Payable after receiving the official letter of admission from the selected school.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
1 May: 75% refund of the agreed program fee
1 August: 50% refund
15 September: 25% refund
After 15 September: No refund
Admission Guarantee
The GKX Admission Guarantee is based on the overall result of the admission assessment and is offered at three levels, reflecting our assessment of the student's likelihood of admission to a GKX partner school:
95–100% Admission Guarantee: If the student is not offered a study place, all fees paid will be refunded, including the €500 Registration Fee.
85–95% Admission Guarantee: If the student is not offered a study place, we will refund all fees paid, excluding the €500 Registration Fee.
60–85% Guarantee: If the student is not offered a study place, we will refund all fees paid, excluding the Registration Fee and Deposit (€1,000 in total).
Important note: The Admission Guarantee and related refund guarantee no longer apply if the student is offered a study place at another GKX partner school. If the family chooses not to accept the alternative study place, the standard Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
